The process has four steps, and you work with the same recruiter through all of them.

It starts with one call. We ask about the role, the team, the schedule and the pay range, and about anything that has made the job hard to fill.
We source and check
We start with our own network and then search the wider market. Every candidate is skills-tested and reference-checked before you meet them.
They start
Depending on the model, they start on our payroll or yours. We handle the paperwork either way.
We stay in it
We check in on the first day, after the first week and after the first month, so a small problem gets fixed before it costs you the hire.

You get a straight timeline
Industrial and warehouse roles are usually sourced within 24 to 48 hours, and skilled trades and professional roles take longer. We give you a timeline you can plan around.

We stay involved after the placement
We check in on day one, week one and month one. If something is off in the first month, we want to hear about it early enough to fix it.

Pay transparency on every job
Every job we post shows the pay rate. Candidates know the number before they apply, so the people you meet have already said yes to the pay.

What does ETS Workforce Solutions do?
ETS Workforce Solutions is a family-owned staffing and recruiting firm founded in 1982. We place workers in manufacturing, skilled trades, industrial, engineering, professional and admin, and healthcare support roles, through contract to hire, Employer of Record, direct hire and executive search.
Which markets does ETS cover?
Our offices are in Plattsburgh NY, Troy NY and Williston VT, covering the North Country, the Capital Region and all of Vermont. Our National Search team serves clients in all 50 states.
How does ETS charge?
It depends on the model. Contract to hire is billed hourly at 40 to 60% over the base pay rate. Employer of Record is about 25% over pay rate. Direct hire is a placement fee from 18% retained or 25% contingent of first-year salary.
How fast can ETS fill a role?
Industrial and warehouse roles are usually sourced within 24 to 48 hours. Skilled trades, engineering and executive searches take longer, and we give you a realistic timeline on the first call.
Does ETS work with small companies?
Yes. We place single hires for small companies and run whole shift programs for large ones. There is no minimum volume.
What if a hire is not a good fit?
On contract to hire you end the contract and owe nothing beyond the hours worked. On direct hire there is a 90 day free replacement guarantee. Either way we go back and find you someone else.
